General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Terms and Conditions)

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "Terms and Conditions") govern sales made on the site www.barbecuefourabois.com:

(hereinafter "the Seller")

and any person making a purchase via the Site.

1) Purpose

The Terms and Conditions of Sale define the conditions applicable to any order placed on the Site, including order, payment, delivery, withdrawal, returns, and warranty.

2) Products

The essential characteristics of the products are described on the product sheets on the Site.
Photos are for illustration purposes: slight variations in shades/finish may exist depending on the series and lighting.

3) Prices

Prices are indicated on the Site.
The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time, provided that the price charged is the one in effect at the time of the order.

✅ Free delivery: only for wood-fired ovens and barbecues (detailed delivery conditions apply).
Accessories may incur delivery charges indicated at the time of payment.

4) Order

The Customer places an order online on the Site.
Any order implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, prices, and product descriptions.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of an existing dispute with the Customer, non-payment, or suspected fraud.

5) Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
Payments are processed through secure providers. The Seller does not retain full banking details.

6) Delivery – General Terms

The Customer agrees to provide accurate information (address, phone, email).
Delivery is made to the address provided at the time of order.

6.1 Delivery Areas

Delivery currently available: France, Belgium, Germany, and Spain.

6.2 Pallet Delivery (Heavy Products)

Barbecues, wood-fired ovens, and outdoor kitchens being heavy/bulky, they are generally delivered on pallets (one or more packages depending on the model).

6.3 Appointment scheduling (mandatory)

For pallet deliveries, scheduling an appointment is mandatory.
The carrier contacts the Customer by phone and/or email.
⚠️ The Customer is invited to check their spam folder to avoid missing the appointment message.

6.4 Truck with tail lift (up to 24 tons) & access

Delivery is made by truck with tail lift, which can weigh up to 24 tons.
The Customer must check the accessibility of the delivery location (width, height, gate, slope, narrow street, passable ground, local restrictions, etc.).

In case of impossible or difficult access, this may result in:

an inability to deliver, and/or
additional costs (new presentation, reprogramming, change of method).

6.5 Unloading & pallet truck

The delivery person has a pallet truck and can move the pallet up to the property boundary, when access allows.
The delivery person is not required to install the product at the final location.

7) Receipt – mandatory inspection

The Customer must check the condition of the packages/pallets before signing.

✅ We strongly recommend opening the packages to check that no parts were damaged during transport (internal shock is possible even if the packaging appears intact).

In case of anomaly, the Customer must imperatively write the mention on the carrier's delivery note:

"damaged package"
(ideally with details: damaged pallet, crushed box, broken part, etc.)

📸 The Customer is invited to take photos and quickly contact customer service: info@barbecuefourabois.com.

⚠️ Without the mention "damaged package", it may be impossible to open a transport claim and obtain a replacement or compensation.

8) Right of withdrawal (individual customers)

The Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal.

To exercise this right: info@barbecuefourabois.com (order number + affected products).

9) Returns (unused products only)

Returns are accepted only if the products are:

unused,
in perfect condition, suitable for resale,
complete (accessories/manuals) and, if possible, with original packaging.

Any product that is used, assembled, damaged, incomplete or unsuitable for resale may be refused.

9.1 Pallet returns

Returns on pallets require specific organization: the Customer must contact customer service before any return.

9.2 Return costs

Except in case of Seller error or proven defect, return costs are the responsibility of the Customer.

10) Refund

After receipt and inspection of returned products, the refund is made via the original payment method as soon as possible.

11) 2-year warranty

All items sold on the Site benefit from a 2-year warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing or conformity defects under normal use.
Not covered in particular: normal wear and tear, misuse, incorrect installation, lack of maintenance, shocks, modifications or non-compliant interventions.

For any after-sales service request: order number + photos + description of the problem.

12) Offers & gifts

Some orders may include a free gift (depending on the current offer, while stocks last).
In case of return of the main product, the gift must also be returned, otherwise its value may be deducted from the refund.

13) Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy / Cookies page available on the Site.

14) Applicable law & disputes

These Terms and Conditions are subject to applicable law.
In case of dispute, the Customer is invited to contact customer service to seek an amicable solution.
